Who is responsible for your data (controller). For the purposes of UK and EU data protection law, the controller is VARITE INC. (1871 The Alameda, Suite 120, San Jose, CA 95126, USA), acting together with its group companies, including its UK office (1 Bow Churchyard, London EC4M9DQ) and VARITE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED (Sector 44, Gurugram, Haryana).
Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, such as your name, contact details, resume, professional background, work eligibility documents, and any information you submit while applying for jobs or engaging with our services.
When you visit the website, we automatically collect limited technical information through our server logs, such as your IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you request, and the date and time of your visit. We do not currently use website analytics or behavioural tracking; the only non-essential cookie set on the site is associated with the Google Map embedded on our Contact page (see “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” below).
In addition, we receive information through authorized and reputable third-party sources such as licensed job boards, recruitment platforms, clients, and professional networking services. We do not collect information from unverified or unauthorized sources.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to provide staffing, recruitment, and workforce solutions. This includes evaluating your profile for job opportunities, facilitating submissions to clients, supporting background verification and onboarding processes, administering payroll and compliance functions, and managing ongoing client service and operational activities. We do not sell personal information under any circumstances.

We follow applicable data protection and privacy regulations in the regions in which we operate. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function. The only non-essential cookie currently set is a Google cookie (“NID”) linked to the Google Map embedded on our Contact page, which Google uses for its own preferences and advertising purposes and which transfers data to the United States. We do not use analytics or advertising tracking on the site.

Where we transfer personal data protected by UK or EU law to a country without an adequacy decision — currently including India and the UAE, and the United States except for organisations certified under the relevant Data Privacy Framework — we put appropriate safeguards in place. These include the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, supported by a transfer risk assessment. Transfers to Canada are covered by adequacy for commercial-sector data. Google’s transfers to the United States rely on its certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension. Children
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in their country of residence) through our website or services. Our services are designed for adult job-seekers and clients only. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from someone under the applicable age threshold, we will take prompt steps to delete such information from our records as soon as reasonably practicable.
We do not use or process any personally identifiable information of minors, and do not allow minors to register, apply for, or access our staffing services or job-matching platforms.
If a minor’s parent or legal guardian believes that we have inadvertently collected data of a person under the age threshold, they may contact us using the contact details provided below. Upon receiving such a request, we will verify the claim and delete the data immediately.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to meet legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations, or to support audit and compliance requirements. Once retention periods expire, information is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with our internal data retention standards.

Automated Decision-Making
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Where we use recruitment software to help sort or rank applications, a human reviewer is always involved in decisions about your application.
